Created by user Methatronc, Sustainable Datapack is a free mod pack for Minecraft. What sets it apart from other mod packs is that it aims to lessen the destruction made to the virtual world as well as the slaughtering of in-game animals.
Play the game more ‘sustainably’
While it doesn’t drastically change or overhaul the popular sandbox game’s gameplay, the Sustainable Datapack mod pack does add a bit of flavor to it. True to its name, it aspires to provide the player with a more sustainable way of playing the game.
The mod pack grants resources without requiring the player to break things or kill animals. These include gold, diamonds, gravel, sand, ice, leather, and feathers, among others. The list is quite short, though, so there are some resources that it may have missed.
Cool mod to try out
Play Minecraft in a more sustainable manner with the Sustainable Datapack mod. With it installed, you’ll be able to gain certain resources without having to slaughter animals or destroy the environment. Bear in mind that the list is quite short, though, so not everything would be in it.
